Question by William M: Would you recommend spread betting to suppliment your income to make extra cash on top of your basic salary?
I know quite a bit about the financial markets and how they work. I read that by the year 2011, 1 million working brittish people will have spread betting accounts, and I am due to get a job soon. What I would like to know is wether or not you would recommend spread betting to suplliment my income by earning extra cash, say, £500-£1k/month?

Only if you can afford to lose the money you are betting (and then some if you are spread betting).
I see that you are due to get a job soon, I personally would be looking to put some savings aside for a rainy day first and then once you have that look for other, safer, ways to supplement your income.
